A New Beginning...

The wind howled as it tore across the land, bringing a bite the paladin had not expected. He looked ahead to his companion, smiling despite the cold. The hunter made moving through the drifting snow look like a stroll through Shattrath, scowling as she did. Any words he might say to her would be ripped away by a blast shortly after leaving his lips, so he kept quiet for now.
Nakama knew they had been trudging along, clad in full armor and carrying several heavy packs, for more than a few hours without seeing another soul. Ehliana had assured him they were near the temple they'd been directed to. She was never wrong when it came to directions, but this felt different. Almost like the snow and shearing wind were conspiring against them.
"You might watch where you're stepping, else you land at the bottom of a gorge, husband." Ehliana smirked as she held a hand in front of Nakama, using the other to scratch her wolf's ears.
While he was lost in thought, the two draenei had come upon a large chasm of ice and stone. The yawning abyss before them went down further than they could see and impressed the scale of these lands upon Nakama.

Couple of new blogs to follow!

OutDPS.com and BigHitBox.com both seem to have a lot of good info on them, so I'm adding them to the Blogroll.

Lots of changes since last I posted!

Still got those same damn trinkets, but I'm rocking all sorts of new gear. I'm dual-spec'd to Prot/Ret, got some T8.5 Legs for both specs and even had the time to get myself a shammie to 80: Sansai

Hopefully everything is going well for everyone out there in Azeroth. We're about to see the 3.2 PTR come up, so it should be an interesting time again testing out new builds and the like, and even Tier 9 bonuses!

For more 3.2 info, head on over to MMO Champion.

Naxx Speaks!

Apparently it wanted me to have some gear from the construct wing, jeez!

Sand-Worn Band
Hero's Surrender
Chestguard of the Exhausted

And then we had some troubles on Gluth.... Damn Dawg! :)

In other news, we've gotten a few new members lately and if we can get them geared, we might actually be able to do Naxx10 at some point here....

Yay, almost epic'd out!

Now I just need some trinkets, and I'll be epic'd out again! :)

Got myself some Bracers of Dalaran's Parapets, Inexorable Sabatons and Ancient Aligned Girdle this week, so I'm set but for all of the upper tier raiding equipment.

Heather got some very nice Leggings of Failed Escape this week as well, so we're doin' pretty good in the loot department! :)

As for the PTR, I just can't seem to bring myself to spend time on there without people I know. If everyone in the guild was going to go to learn new content, that would be one thing. But since we're still working on levelling alts and recruiting, it's a secondary, far off thing...

Regardless, I'm glad to see that MMO-Champion keeps updating the talent calculator! Very helpful to see some of the different tree changes and how they affect the greater picture.

What is all this hubbub over 3.1? Seriously!

I mean, come on, we know that how things start on the PTR is very rarely how they end with regards to the freakin' talent trees and spells we're all looking at.

CALM DOWN, FOLKS! :)

Paladin-wise, I'm pretty cool with what we've seen so far and the talent trees obviously need a little work, but I'm really glad they put the prot tree on a diet. I'll be able to do something like 0/54/16 soon instead of having to dump so many points into the tree. It'll be nice to have some freedom.

Re: Dual-specs
I really honestly can't wait to be able to transform with a 5 second cast and a gear switch from a buff pally tank to a Holy pally healer. It'll definitely be great for our guild (as I know how to heal, I just really don't like spending the money to bounce back and forth) and for the state of the game in general, as I've definitely heard a lot of "TOO MANY TANKS" and there's always tons of DPS out there... :)

Maxed Professions!

450 Enchanting, 455 Jewelcrafting!

Nakama's Knicknacks is now open for business on Blackhand, biy0tches! :)

I even blew the Abyss Crystals to get the 40 Stamina to Bracer enchant. Whew!
